Life holds off Faulkner

Life forced Faulkner into 33 turnovers and controlled the game throughout, beating the Eagles 84-71 Saturday night at Tine Davis Gymnasium in the final game of the Jimmy Faulkner Classic.
Faulkner (0-3) scored the game’s first basket, but never led again as Life built leads of 13 points in the first half and 18 in the second as the Eagles never seriously threatened in the final 20 minutes.
The Eagles were paced by Randell Moore’s 19 points and nine rebounds. George Manomano added 17 and Chris Palmore 11 for Faulkner. Life (4-1) got 25 points from Tay Barber, 12 from Darius Bates and 11 from Ken Moore.
Faulkner hosts Concordia Monday night at 7.
