Faulkner’s baseball program hosted Brewton-Parker College Friday night for its first conference game of the season. The Eagles were looking to make an early mark in league play and stormed past the Barons for a 13-3 victory.
The home team wasted little time getting down to business, rocking three back-to-back home runs in its first three at bats. Kevin Leslie, Chris Myles and Austin Adams each delivered solo shots to left field to give the Eagles a rapid 3-0 lead.

The Barons were able to climb within a run twice during the eight-inning contest, but Faulkner’s offensive onslaught was too much for Brewton-Parker. Austin Adams led the assault with an impressive 4-for-4 performance that included five RBIs. The senior delivered an RBI double and a three-run blast in addition to his first inning home run. Adams also had a stolen base.
