The Faulkner baseball team honored 11 of its players in a special Senior Day tribute this afternoon. The event took place just prior to the second game in doubleheader with conference rival Southern Wesleyan.

The team honored Kevin Leslie, Austin Adams, Winston Stone, David Holcombe, Andrew Sims, Josh Lock, Ryan Chase, Mitch Whatley, Jose Morillo, Michael Colley and J.P. Dailey for their contributions to the program over their careers.

Faulkner went on to sweep the Warriors in the three-game series. After blistering the visitors 19-9 in just seven innings on Friday evening, the Eagles went on to a 10-3 blowout in Saturday's opener. The final game of the series took on a different light however as Faulkner battled back from a 5-3 deficit in the bottom of the seventh for the 6-5 knockout.

The Eagles (26-18, 10-10 SSAC) will host Columbus State in a nine-inning game on Tuesday, April 14 at 4 p.m.
