| Faulkner welcomes NAIA playoff participant and Mid-South Conference rival Shorter College to Cramton Bowl for its home opener, and will honor those who serve the River Region in a public safety capacity. | The third annual Parents Weekend will once again be a favorite for the Faulkner student body. The Eagles host Belhaven, another MSC opponent, at Cramton Bowl. In addition to having our parents in attendance, the Faulkner athletic department has invited all youth football leagues to the game as our guests. Jerseys must be worn by the players in attendance. Our campus bookstore, located adjacent to the J.L. Perry cafeteria, will be open from 8:30 to 10:30 Saturday morning, allowing you to purchase Faulkner souvenirs and clothing to wear to the game. Tickets to the game are $10 for adults and $5 for students. Children 10 and under get in free. If you’re planning on spending Saturday night in Montgomery please call our Alumni Office at (334) 386-7259 for Faulkner hotel discount opportunities. | Homecoming 2009 at Faulkner should prove to be the most enjoyable ever! Following the Eagles’ game with UVA-Wise at Cramton Bowl, and a stirring performance at halftime by Cornerstone, the Faulkner Alumni Association, the Office of Student Activities and the Student Government Association will host a Homecoming party on the Quad between the gymnasium and the Rotunda. Student bands will be performing. Face-painting and moonwalk games for the kids will be free of charge. Food and drinks will be available for purchase. The afternoon and evening activities will conclude just in time to step inside the gym and watch the Eagles’ basketball team play Life University.
