One of the goals of Faulkner University is to produce teachers that are thoroughly prepared to go into the world effectively educating young people. The Education Department of Faulkner University is located in Johnson Hall. Housing the Education offices, the curriculum lab, the education center, and two computer labs with some of the latest technology, Johnson Hall provides tools needed by the Education Department in fulfilling its goals.

Johnson Hall is named after Dr. Leonard Johnson, one of the co-founders of Faulkner who taught at the University for many years, with his last tenure lasting until his death in 1995.
