Conference championships are a regular feature of the Tine Davis Gymnasium, both in Basketball and Volleyball. Competing in the tough Southern States Athletic Conference Davis Gymnasium is the site of many exciting athletic competitions.

Daily Chapel services are held in the Gym, as are PE classes, and intramural sports, as well as intercollegiate sports. The Gym provides the venue for big events, such as concerts, when they are held on campus.

Big things are in the store for the Davis Gymnasium as plans are in the works to expand and renovate the Gym into a student multiplex in the future.

Winning championships has become a common occurence at Faulkner's Tine Davis Gymnasium, which hosts many exciting events in the intercollegiate sports of volleyball and basketball. The Faulkner volleyball team has Georgia-Alabama-Carolina Conference regular season and tournament championships on its resume, as does the Eagles' basketball team. The 2001 basketball team won the NAIA national championship, with the banner and giant team picture proudly displayed on the far wall of the gymnasium.

The Athletic Department offices are also housed in Tine Davis Gymnasium, as are the offices of the Physical Education Department. Daily chapel services are held in the gym, as well as intramural sports and activites throughout the year. Tine Davis Gymnasium has also been chosen as the site for numerous "non-Faulkner related'' events, such as athletic and academic competitions in the Alabama Independent School Association, as well as activites during the Alabama High School Athletic Association's All-Star Sports Week.

The future looks bright for Tine Davis Gymnasium, with plans in the works to expand and renovate the facility. The renovation will include the addition of a student multiplex, which will include two basketball/volleyball courts, raquetball courts, a walking/running track, a weight room and a game room, as well as athletic and physical education offices.
