The Tine Davis Gymnasium provides space for many of the most important functions that take place on Faulkner’s campus … besides its numerous athletic activities.

Students attend daily chapel services at Tine Davis, and its facilities are utilized for PE classes, intramural sports, and even concerts when they are organized by the university. In recent years, the gym has also hosted Faulkner’s annual Jamboree. The Athletic Department offices are housed in Tine Davis Gymnasium, as are the offices of the Physical Education Department. Tine Davis Gymnasium has also been chosen as the site for numerous "non-Faulkner related'' events, such as athletic and academic competitions in the Alabama Independent School Association, as well as activites during the Alabama High School Athletic Association's All-Star Sports Week.

The gym’s major service, though, is for athletics. The Faulkner volleyball team has Georgia-Alabama-Carolina Conference regular season and tournament championships on its resume, as does the Eagles' basketball team. Whether it’s practice, actual game time, or even symobolic representations of past victories, much of the action happens here. The 2001 basketball team won the NAIA national championship—the banner and giant team picture are proudly displayed on the far wall of the gymnasium.

The Davis Gymnasium recently experienced a massive change in 2006 when it was expanded and renovated to allow for the Student Multiplex. The facilities are now better than ever and include two basketball/volleyball courts, raquetball courts, a walking/running track, a weight room and a game room, and athletic and physical education offices.
