God has been tremendously generous to Faulkner University. The university’s facilities have grown from just a handful of buildings in 1965 to the fine campus you are about to tour.
Three buildings dominate the entrance to the campus, the Jones School of Law on your right, the Harris College of Business directly in front of you, and the V.P. Black College of Biblical Studies on your left. Of these three, one is entirely new and one has had significant additions made to it in recent years. In the latter’s case, the whole back end of the Jones School of Law was reconstructed in 2001, with nearly 28,000 square feet of added classroom and office space. The V.P. Black College of Biblical Studies opened its doors in March of 2003 and is one of the most beautiful and well equipped buildings on this campus. One of the more recent additions is the Student Multiplex, a mammoth structure that houses a huge number of academic, athletic, and recreational facilities. Its completion represents the culmination of years of hard work and sacrifice. Current plans are also in progress to renovate the Gus Nichols Library, and sometime in the near future, create a stadium complex.
Our fervent hope is that we have done well with what God has given us, that we have drawn all to His kingdom, and in doing so, blessed our students and our community, served God through service to His children.
