Why did you choose Faulkner University? Faulkner had a great program of study in the liberal arts, which encourages students to drink deeply of the Western tradition of learning as a spiritual discipline. The MLA's focus on the great books was largely a continuation of my high school literature studies.

What do you like best about Faulkner University? The emphasis upon quality work, and the fact that it is encouraged in an environment where the professors are eager to help students succeed. The MLA program is exemplary in this area.

What was the most important thing you learned while attending Faulkner University? Better research/writing skills. I feel that I am much better prepared for a terminal degree program having completed coursework in my master's program at Faulkner.

What advice would you give to prospective students? Undergraduates: Enroll in the Great Books Honors College.
Graduates: Enroll in the Master's of Liberal Arts Program.
