Palin's Visit Bringing Attention to Montgomery from Across the Country
Montgomery -- School officials at Faulkner University report that ticket sales for "An Evening with Sarah Palin" have exceeded their expectations. Palin will be the keynote speaker for the University's Benefit Dinner Oct. 7 at the Renaissance Hotel and Spa Convention Center. Tickets to the event went on sale Mon., Feb. 15 at the start of the business day, and officials say Web site traffic and phone lines have been very busy.
"Sales are coming from all over the country, even as far as Nevada," said Dr. Ben Bruce, vice president for University Advancement. "Palin's appearance on behalf of Faulkner University is bringing great attention to Montgomery from other areas," he said. "People are very excited for the chance to hear Palin."
Seating for the event is limited, but general admission tickets and sponsorships are still available. All proceeds from "An Evening with Sarah Palin" will fund student scholarships. Those interested in hearing Sarah Palin should visit Faulkner.edu for more information or call 334-386-7257.
