Faulkner University's new soccer and recreation complex is a relatively new addition to Faulkner's campus, so new, in fact, that it has yet to be dedicated and is still in the process of being constructed.
The complex is located just a few miles from Faulkner's main campus near Dalraida Park. Once complete, it will have a 120 x 70 soccer pitch with stands for matches and an adjacent 90 x 45 field for practice and intramurals. The complex provides not only for soccer but tennis and volleyball too. It houses a set of two lighted tennis courts and an area designated for sand volleyball, both of which will be great assets to students. Bathrooms with showers are on site, and the complex is equipped with a concession stand, which will provide the team with a little extra revenue.
Faulkner greatly anticipates this project's completion. Once finished, the structure will provide a place not only for athletics but devotionals and fellowship before and after matches.
