The Leopold D. Lee Family Fieldhouse was dedicated in spring of 2008 and represents the first phase a three-tiered plan for an immense stadium complex that will be built at Faulkner University in the near future. The deceptive-looking building (actually a hefty 7,400 square feet) currently serves the Faulkner football program and will aid men and women's soccer, intramural sports, and the university's future marching band. The facility will also be available to host high school events, expanding its influence and service to the community. The building houses a reception area, coaches offices, a training room, and a locker room. Already valued at nearly a million dollars, future plans call for an additional 3,000 square feet of space to be added to the building.
Faulkner's next step in the stadium complex will be the construction of a new synthetic field, and then eventually, a fully equipped stadium built up around the field.
