2008 Mentors
iStart allowed me the opportunity to adjust to college life and Faulkner University's campus as a freshman. I was able to meet great people during my week of iStart, many of which are still close friends of mine to this day.

Freshman Experience for me was a time to get to know some of my classmates and was able to help me get ready to be on my own. --Jared Jones
To me, iStart means getting to meet people who will be some of your best friends throughout your college years who you'll have fun with but who you can spiritually depend on too!
--Tim Hatcher

"iStart is a great way to meet new people. While other colleges give you one day to register and meet new students, Faulkner's iStart gives you a week to get to know incoming students, as well as current students. These are the people you will know all your years in school, as well as the people that you can and will lean on whenever you need to."
--JoMo" Morgan

"Freshman Experience is great! I Loved it as a freshman because it prepared me more for the upcoming year and its that week that I made the most friends. It's also great as a mentor because I get to come back to Faulkner early and meet all of the new faces that are going to be at school this year!"
--Heather Bear
" I greatly enjoyed the iStart program as an incoming freshman. I made great friendships and was able to settle in at Faulkner before classes actually started. It was great!" --Heidi Nunnelly

fun getting to know my class before everyone else got to school."
--Amber Wiginton

"I am from Michigan, when I came to Faulkner I was very nervous to be in a completely new environment. iStart is a fun way to break the ice with lots of people. Its a great way to make friends that you will stay close with throughout your college career." -- CHelsea Jannings
