The Writing Center

The Writing Center, located in the Instructional Support Lab, offers free writing skills instruction to all Faulkner students. Its staff includes qualified peer tutors as well as Faulkner English faculty.

Students enrolled in Fundamentals of Reading and Writing courses are required to schedule one hour sessions per week with a Writing Center tutor (thirty minutes with the tutor and thirty minutes working on the computer under the tutor's supervision).

All other students needing writing assistance may schedule appointments on a weekly basis by dropping by the Writing Center and signing-up for a tutoring session or call the Instructional Support Lab at (334) 386-7294 and make an appointment.
