College Level Examination Program (CLEP)

CLEP

The College-Level Examinations Program (CLEP) is a College Board program that allows students to test in various introductory college courses and potentially receive college credit. The CLEP exams are 90 minutes long and are scored immediately upon completion of the exam. (Scores will not be immediately received when taking the English Composition with Essay exam or optional written essays.)

Students can take up to two tests during one testing session at Faulkner University in any of the following subject areas:

  • Composition and Literature
  • Foreign Languages
  • History and Social Sciences
  • Science and Mathematics
  • Business

View information concerning test fees. Effective July 1, 2012, the exam fee will increase to $80.

*CLEP exams are administered twice a month. A complete list of testing dates is available in the Registration form.
