Tea Room

Friends for Faulkner operates a Tea Room during the lectureship. It will be open daily in HP112, located downstairs in the Harris-Parker (Bible Building). They will have snacks, goodies, soft drinks, coffee, and much more for purchase, and available to all those who attend the lectureship.

MONTGOMERY, AL. – Over 80 different speakers will be taking part in the Annual Bible Lectureship
at Faulkner University, March 3-6, 2008. The theme of this year’s lectureship is “The Battle for the Minds of Men.” 

On Monday night George Bailey will deal with the topic, “Will God Always Bless America?”  Other evening speakers are Marlin Connelly (“A Bright Star in a Dark World”); Jim Bill McInteer (“The Importance of the Bible in Producing a Pure Mind”); and Stafford North (“Victory in Jesus”). 
Daytime sessions will begin each day at 8:00 with Gary Bradley speaking on “Seeking the Lost.” Throughout each day of the lectureship various classes covering a wide variety of biblical topics will
be held.  Included every day are lectures especially designed for ladies. One of the special parts
of each day is the daily chapel session, with the students, staff, faculty, and visitors present.
Randy Medlin, Mack Lyon, and Ross Jordan will be the chapel speakers.

Special features of this year’s lectureship include the continuation of the “Friends of the
Restoration Movement” lectures, which will be held on Monday afternoon. Also, Dr. Donnie Hilliard
of Faulkner University’s Cloverdale Center for Family Strengths directs special lectures throughout
the week designed for those involved in Youth Ministry. On Thursday night a special dinner will be held to honor Dr. Jack Lewis.
