A study of life science provides a wide spectrum of career possibilities such as healthcare professional, research scientist, engineer or teacher. Faulkner offers a comprehensive curriculum in biology with a variety of pre-professional emphases. Small classes allow you to enjoy one-on-one relationships with professors who help you master content and concepts. Additionally, the department offers a program of internship studies for practical experience and exposure valuable for immediate employment or graduate studies. Faulkner students who have applied to graduate programs have a 95% acceptance rate.
Additionally, all science classes at Faulkner combine scientific facts with Biblical truths. We recognize God as the source of all life. Our professors welcome lively discussions on variety of topics including the origins of life, bioethics, and the role of the Christian in science. We're happy to tackle the tough questions in support of your goals as a science professional.
Although Faulkner does not offer degrees in Nursing, Pharmacy, Engineering or the Allied Health fields, we can get you started in those fields through our Pre-Professional Linkage Curricula.
