COURSE DESCRIPTION: A chronological investigation of humanity in Western civilization undertaken through the study of art, music, literature, politics, philosophy, and theology from the early medieval world (800 A.D.) through the Baroque period. The historical experience of man and his cultural expressions and values are interpreted through a Christian worldview as the best means to understand the nature of man. Offered every semester. Prerequisite: eligibility for EH 1301 required; HU 1310 is strongly recommended.
