COURSE DESCRIPTION: A chronological investigation of humanity in Western civilization undertaken through the study of art, music, literature, politics, philosophy, and theology from antiquity to the early medieval world (800 A.D.). The historical experience of man and his cultural expressions and values are interpreted through a Christian worldview as the best means to understand the nature of man. Offered every semester. Prerequisite: eligibility for EH 1301.
