deleting temporary internet files

This page gives instructions for disabling automatic file download prompting in Internet Explorer 7.0, Mozilla Firefox 2.0, and Netscape Navigator 8.1.

Internet Explorer 7.0

  1. Click the "Tools" menu.
  2. Click "Delete Browsing History...."
  3. Beside "Temporary Internet Files," click "Delete Files...."
  4. Click "OK."

  1. Click the "Tools" menu.
  2. Click "Downloads."
  3. Click "Clean Up."
  4. Click the close button (X).
