Duties and Interests at Faulkner University:
Dr. Wright typically teaches one section of composition and multiple sections of literature each semester and serves as the sponsor of Faulkner's chapter of Sigma Tau Delta. As a Hudson Strode Renaissance Program Fellow at the University of Alabama, Dr. Wright specialized in medieval and Renaissance literature. Consequently, he especially enjoys teaching English Literature Survey 1, Chaucer and Medieval Studies, and Shakespeare Survey.
Life outside the classroom for Dr. Wright includes serving God and his church family, spending time with his wife, Wanda, and his twin daughters, Eliana and Mikayla, entertaining family, friends, and students in his home, reading for work and pleasure, working on research and creative writing projects, attending plays at the Alabama Shakespeare Festival, listening to music, watching movies, and relaxing at Starbuck's.
