Faculty

An entering student who lists education as a major will be assigned to a faculty advisor within the Department of Education or within the content area for those majoring in a secondary education field. It is the student's responsibility to schedule conferences with the advisor each semester prior to, or during registration for assistance with scheduling.

As early as possible, but certainly by the end of the freshman year, the student, and his or her advisor, should develop an approved Education Degree Plan. The student's advisor and the Department of Education Chair must approve any substitutions.
