Informatics graduates will be prepared for a variety of careers such as:

- Web Usability Specialist;
- Information Officer.
Potential employers may include:
- Database Vendors and Information Clearinghouses;
- Banks, Corporations, Hospitals and Industry;
- E-Business and Search Engines (i.e., Amazon, Google);
- Museums, Schools and Universities;
- Local, State and Federal Government; and
- ...any employer that stores, organizes, or accesses information.
Graduates will also be prepared to pursue graduate degrees in Informatics or Information-related fields.
