Through a partnership with The University of Alabama research projects have been conducted in the U.S. and around the world. Dr.Nick Stinnett, renowned family strengths researcher at The University of Alabama and Dr. Donnie Hilliard, Director of the Cloverdale Center for Family Strengths, have just completed a marriage research project that draws from the experiences of 6000 happily married couples in the U. S. Based on this research, Stinnett and Hilliard have written a book and have developed Bible and college level class materials for couples. The two professors just returned from Russia and Ukraine where they lectured in seven universities and set up research teams to examine strong families in those countries.
The purpose of these research efforts is to identify and understand the successful strategies and dynamic of healthy families so that future generations can use this knowledge to build their own strong families.
