FAULKNER UNIVERSITY'S MISSION
Faulkner University is a Christian University with a Christian mission, and therefore has certain expectations of all of its employees (both faculty and staff) that apply to conduct both on and off campus. Faulkner staff and faculty serve as both ambassadors of the University to the external community and as role models for our students.
Faulkner University was founded by members of the church of Christ and since its founding has been affiliated with and supported by members and congregations of the churches of Christ. The University has certain commitments with regard to religious and moral issues. HERE WE STAND is a document written in an effort to help communicate these commitments; it is intended to be illustrative but not exhaustive.
Faulkner University is a church-affiliated liberal arts institution committed to employing a highly qualified and diverse administration, faculty and staff, which reflects the University’s religious traditions, values and affiliation, and purpose.
