The overhaul of the existing Gus Nichols Library into a Learning/Technology Center will not only reinvent the space but transform the University as a whole. With state-of-the-art technology, the new Center will be the core of the University. Physically, construction will add an additional 24,000 square feet to the existing 12,000 square foot building erected in 1969. Plans for the new space include additional shelf space to expand collections, conference areas, a 250-seat auditorium and spaces to house the academically acclaimed Great Books Honor program. Technologically, the facility will enable Faulkner to meet today’s and tomorrow’s educational needs.
