A student majoring in secondary education may choose from the following degrees:

Bachelor of Arts in Biology

Bachelor of Arts in Biology with General Science

Bachelor of Arts in English

Bachelor of Arts in History

Bachelor of Arts in History with General Social Studies

Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics

Each secondary program includes three components: general studies, professional education, and subject-area courses.

In planning a program in secondary education, the student should work closely with the assigned advisor to meet the requirements for the disciplines chosen. Regardless of subject area concentration, the professional education component remains constant and the general studies components vary slightly.
